Sunken Sculpture
Sunken Sculpture
Acrylic, ink, charcoal and graphite on paper

Old sculpture of Dionysus,
Sunken somewhere at the Mediterranean,
Long gone are your past glories and youthful party days.
In the dark sea bottom,
Half buried in the sand,
You are shadowboxing small fish,
Laying their eggs on your stony skin, and you wonder,
“How has it come to this?”
